Easy Festive Christmas Margarita Recipe
Celebrate the holiday season with this Easy Festive Christmas Margarita! Infused with pomegranate and a touch of spice, this refreshing cocktail features a cinnamon sugar rim and bubbly Topo Chico, making it the perfect drink for Christmas gatherings.
Ingredients
- 2 oz. silver tequila or tequila blanco
- 1/2 oz. Grand Marnier or any orange liqueur
- 2 oz. pomegranate juice
- 1/2 oz. orange juice
- Squeeze from 1/2 a lime
- Pinch of cayenne pepper
- 2 shakes of ground cinnamon
- Topo Chico mineral water to top off
- Pomegranate seeds for garnish
- Cinnamon sticks for garnish
Forthe Rim:
- 1 tbsp. turbinado coarse sugar
- A couple shakes of cayenne pepper
- One shake of cinnamon
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine the rimming ingredients, then place the mixture onto a plate.
- Take a lime wedge and run it around the rim of your cocktail glass, then dip the glass into the sugar mixture to coat the rim.
- Add ice to the glass and set it aside.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine all the cocktail ingredients (except for Topo Chico and garnishes) and add a scoop of ice.
- Shake the mixture for 20 seconds, then pour it over the ice in the prepared glass.
- Top with Topo Chico mineral water and garnish with pomegranate seeds and cinnamon sticks, and your festive drink is ready to serve!
