Quick Prosciutto & Burrata Toast with Balsamic Strawberries
These no-cook, garlicky prosciutto & burrata toasts are topped with peppery arugula and sweet, savory balsamic strawberries for a flavorful, easy dinner ready in 10 minutes!
4slices thick, rustic breadlike Italian, artisanal, ciabatta or sourdough
1clovegarlic
2ballsburrata cheeseI used 1 ball per 2 slices
1/2cupbaby arugula leaves
6-8slices prosciuttoextra fat removed
1/2cupdiced strawberries
1tbsp.aged balsamic vinegar
pinch of flakey sea salt like Maldon
Instructions
Toast your bread:Slice your rustic bread into 1” slices and place into the toaster to desired toastiness.
Dice strawberries until you have about 1/2 cup of pieces, then place into a small bowl. Drizzle with aged balsamic vinegar and set aside.
Once your bread has toasted, take garlic clove and gently rub onto each piece of toast.
Take your burrata ball and gently break it open. Distribute the mozzarella and cream over top of the four pieces of garlic toast.
Add a few baby arugula leaves on top of the burrata on each piece of toast.
Remove any extra fat from each prosciutto slice and gently tear into small pieces. Lay over top of the arugula and repeat for a total of 2-3 slices of prosciutto on each toast.
Spoon a few balsamic strawberries onto each toast, then sprinkle with a pinch of flakey sea salt.
