These toasts pair wonderfully with an arugula side salad, a cup of tomato soup, or even some crispy sweet potato fries!
Tips for Making Creamy Burrata & Prosciutto Toasts:
- Choose the Right Bread: Ideally you are using sturdy bread that can hold a decent amount of ingredients stacked on them. I love an Italian artisanal bread, ciabatta bread, even sourdough for this recipe.
- Crispy Prosciutto Pieces: If you have more time and don’t mind using the oven, crispy prosciutto would be delicious on these toasts. Simply lay out a few pieces of prosciutto onto a sheet pan, spray with cooking spray and roast for HOLD FOR TIMING
- Make Them Spicy: Like heat? Add a sprinkle of red pepper flakes over top of the burrata.
- Meal Prep: Save even more time by dicing your strawberries ahead of time. Wait to toss with balsamic until you are ready to plate.
