Easy Baked Boursin Wontons with Cranberry Jam + Pecans

This insanely creamy, jammy, crunchy four-ingredient appetizer is perfect for your Thanksgiving spread or any holiday gathering!

There is just something about creamy, herby cheese mixed with tart cranberry preserves in a toasted wanton that can bring everyone together.

Boursin is a very mild herbed, slightly garlicky cheese that pairs perfectly with the sweet and slightly tangy jam—sort of like a baked brie with preserves on top! The wontons add extra crunch without much additional flavor so that the cheese and the jam can shine. Top them off with chopped candied pecans, and you simply have a perfect holiday appetizer!

Why you’ll love these boursin wontons!

Enjoy Year Round:

Ty and I love making these Boursin Wontons with Berry Jam year round by mixing up the flavor of jam and toppings! You can find all the ingredients at your local grocery stores. Make them in the spring with strawberry jam and chopped rosemary, or in the summer with peach preserves.

So Full of Flavor!

This recipe highlights creamy Boursin cheese—a soft, herb-infused cheese that packs so much flavor without being overpowering. Its mild garlic notes and creamy texture make it the perfectttt base for this appetizer. The cheese melts beautifully, and its herby richness pairs perfectly with the tart cranberry jam, creating a delicious contrast of flavors, while the crispy baked wontons add a satisfying crunch to each bite. Yum! 😍

Simple Yet Elegant App!

This dish is the easiest appetizer ever! It doesn’t take much time or effort to prepare but looks and tastes like you spent hours in the kitchen (my type of recipe!). Simply preheat the oven, fill the wonton wrappers with Boursin cheese, fold them up, and bake until they’re golden brown and crispy. Once out of the oven, drizzle with cranberry jam (or any berry jam of your choice) and top with chopped candied pecans—annnnd bam! Just like that, you have a show-stopping appetizer that will wow your guests.

Ingredients you’ll need:

  • 10 wonton wrappers
  • 1 round Boursin cheese (comes boxed)
  • 1/2 cup cranberry or tart berry jam (cherry works great too)
  • 1/4 cup chopped candied pecans

How to make these easy baked boursin wontons:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Line a sheet pan with tin foil and spray with cooking spray. Lay out 10 wonton wrappers.
  3. Use a spoon to place about 1 tablespoon of Boursin cheese in the middle of each wrapper.
  4. Dip your finger in water and trace the edges of each wonton wrapper, then pinch together to create a triangle.
  5. Spray wontons with cooking spray, then bake for 10 minutes.
  6. Put jam into a small bowl and microwave for 30 seconds to liquify.
  7. Drizzle the warm jam over the baked wontons and top with chopped candied pecans. Enjoy them while they’re warm!

Storing Leftovers

If you have any leftovers, you can store them in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a day. I recommend reheating them in the oven on a baking sheet for a few minutes to bring back their crispiness—making them the perfect appetizer for the next day!
