5 Ingredient Tortellini Bake Recipe

Super quick and insanely delicious, this classic dinner only has five ingredients and is ready in less than thirty minutes.

There’s nothing I love more than a good weeknight pasta. Not only that, but I love taking store-bought items like this tortellini and making them my own, taking them from boxed to bougie! With a deliciously rich ground turkey marinara sauce, a hint of pesto, and a generous coating of mozzarella, this deceivingly simple and impossibly delicious dish is sure to be a crowd-pleaser.

Here’s how you’ll make my 5 Ingredient Tortellini Bake:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Brown ground turkey by heating oil, then cooking turkey until no longer pink.
  3. In a deep sided pan or dutch oven, spray bottom with cooking spray, then add tortellini, browned ground turkey, and marinara.
  4. Add in water, then top with spoonfuls of pesto.
  5. Top with shredded cheese then cover. Bake for 20 minutes.
  6. Remove cover and bake for 5 more minutes. Let cool slightly and enjoy!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 20 oz package refrigerated tortellini
  • 1 Lb ground turkey
  • 1 24 oz. jar of marinara sauce
  • 1 Cup pesto jarred or fresh
  • 1/2 Cup mozzarella shredded
  • 1/2 Cup water

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Brown ground turkey by heating 1 tbsp. Oil then cooking ground turkey until no longer pink. Set aside.
  • In a deep sided pan or Dutch oven, spray bottom with cooking spray then add tortellini, browned ground turkey and marinara. Stir to combine.
  • Add in water then top with spoonfuls of pesto.
  • Top with shredded cheese then cover. Bake for 20 mins.
  • Remove cover then bake for 5 more mins.
  • Let cool slightly then enjoy! Makes for great leftovers as well.
